CHOO CHOO! All aboard the 1880 Holiday Express Train. Grab your tickets now to ride the 1880 train in Hill City! Explore the Black Hills while getting the opportunity to meet Santa! Your will also receive a complimentary cookie and hot cocoa from his elves.
Open to Active Duty members and their families only! Limit to 5 tickets per family. Children under the age of 2 do not need to purchase a ticket, but must sit on the lap of an adult during the train ride.

Tickets must be purchased on Eventbrite and picked up at Outdoor Rec.
After making your purchase on Eventbrite, you’ll need to visit Outdoor Recreation to pick up your tickets. Please do not visit or call Outdoor Recreation regarding tickets – Eventbrite is the only way to reserve tickets for the 1880 Train Holiday Express. Tickets must be picked up by 16 November – any tickets not picked up will be refunded and offered to the first family on the wait-list. Outdoor Recreation will require an Active Duty (or Active Duty Dependent) ID when tickets are picked up. Any non-active duty families with tickets will be refunded so that those tickets can be offered to an active duty family on the wait-list.
