Join Outdoor Recreation and Blue Bell Stables for a half day horseback trail ride. We will start at Blue Bell Stables following French Creek. You may find bison wallowing and grazing among the Ponderosa Pine trees. Wildlife, flora and fauna are everywhere. Upon return to the stables, you will be accompanied by your wrangler to lunch at Blue Bell Lodge. This trip includes the Custer State Park day entrance fee.
Instructions and registration information:
No transportation will be provided, we will meet at Blue Bell Stables, Custer State Park. Directions can be found at the Custer State park entrance booth. Blue Bell Stables are located near the Blue Bell Lodge and campground, address is 13389 Lame Johhny Rd, Custer, SD 57730
Pick up your park entrance tag from Outdoor Recreation by the Friday before.

Must be a DoD cardholder with access to Ellsworth AFB
No one under the age of 10 allowed on this ride. Children can not ride with parents. One person per horse.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your ride. Transportation is not provided
All participants must wear a helmet.
Weight limit is 230 lbs if under 6 feet, anyone over 6 feet please call to ask about weight limits.
While on the ride you are not allowed to carry backpacks, purses, large cameras, ponchos, neck accessories and water bottles.
Bring rain gear, long pants, close toed shoes (required)
Bug spray and sunscreen recommended.
