Recreational Lodging

The Cedar Lodge and FamCamp are located within minutes of the heart of Rapid City, South Dakota.

While our guests visit Ellsworth AFB, they will have the opportunity to view the beautiful surrounding areas. The Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, Badlands, and Deadwood are all about an hour's drive. 

Cedar Lodge has queen bed (1) rooms that include a sofa, table and chairs, cable tv, microwave, safe, full size refridgerator, linens, towels, and free WiFi. Cedar Lodge does not offer hygiene products. Amenities include a free pass to the Outdoor Pool, on-site laundry access, and an exercise room. Guests are responsible for all damages. There are currently no pet accomodations at Cedar Lodge. Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 A. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. 
Reservations can be made in person or by phone at the FAMCAMP office. Charges will be made upon check-in. A 24-hour advanced notice is required for cancellation refund eligibility.

FAMCAMP
The Ellsworth AFB FAMCAMP offers 51 full hook-up sites (21 pull-through & 30 back-in) with concrete pads, water, sewer, up to 50 amp electric services, and Free WiFi. There are also dry/overflow sites with gravel pads only. The FAMCAMP is open year round with electricity hook-ups only in the winter season. The shower facility is handicap accessible and a free laundry facility is offered. Included in your welcome packet is a free pass to the Outdoor Pool. Additional internet hook-ups are located at the Library and Dakota's Club. Guests are responsible for all damages. A pet walking area is located along the north fence. A Frequent Camper Program is available. Check-in is 2:00 PM. Check-out is 12:00 PM. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM - to 7:00 AM. Reservations can be made in person or by phone at the FAMCAMP office during business hours. A 24-hour advanced notice is required for cancellation refund eligibility.
