Rod & Gun members receive a free on-base fishing permit (annual membership only), a $2 per round discount at Trap & Skeet, and 24 Hour Access to the Doolittle Archery Range.

Annual Membership Fees
$60 - Single Dakota's Club Member
$75 - Single Non-Dakota's Club Member
$85 - Family Dakota's Club Member
$100 - Family Non-Dakota's Club Member

**Annual membership expires one full calendar year from date of purchase

Monthly Fees
$8 - Single Dakota's Club Member
$10 - Single Non-Dakota's Club Member
$9 - Family Dakota's Club Member
$11 - Family Non-Dakota's Club Members

**Monthly membership expires at the end of each month

An annual shotgun only membership available at a cost of $30

Trap & Skeet

The Trap & Skeet Range offers 12 or 20 gauge shotguns for Single Airman use only upon request. One round includes 25 targets.
Cost per round is as follows:
Rod & Gun Club Member $4
Non-Member $6

The member must provide shotgun and ammunition. Liability forms must be completed annually and on file at the Trap and Skeet Club House.
Volunteer Range Master is required to utilize the Trap and Skeet Range. Contact Outdoor Recreation for more information.

 

FirearmTransportation Procedures:  A privately owned firearm may be transported in a trunk or other locked compartment of a vehicle, or within a gun case. The firearm must be transported in an unloaded fashion. The firearm may only be transported from the installation ECP or authorized firing location to the place of authorized storage, using the most direct route with no stops along the route. The only exception is federal, state and local law enforcement officers are authorized to bear firearms on Ellsworth while performing official duties. Storing firearms in a POV or recreational vehicle is not authorized on the installation.

Doolittle Indoor Archery Range

Address: BLDG 7613 on Tinker Drive (Former LRS Readiness Building)

The Doolittle Indoor Archery Range is a 35 yard range with 6 targets and unlimited shooting in 12 lanes. It is open year round and accessible 24 hours to Rod & Gun Club Members only. Youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Liability forms must be completed annually and on file at Outdoor Recreation. 
**Broadheads are prohibited. Any archer found using broadheads will lose all range privileges, be charged target replacement feed and not reimbursed for membership fees already paid.

Outdoor Archery Range

The Outdoor Archery Range is open year round with 6 targets and unlimited shooting. Liability forms must be completed annually and on file at Outdoor Recreation.
**Broadheads are prohibited. Any archer found using broadheads will lose all range privileges, be charged target replacement feed and not reimbursed for membership fees already paid.
